What kinds of heating instruments do we allow in our spaces?

Only some types of heating instruments are permitted in Breather spaces. Please refer to the list below for what we do and do not allow in our spaces!

  • Microwaves.
  • Electric coffee pots or Keurig machines.
  • Airpots.
  • Electric kettles.
  • Teapots.
  • Clothes irons.

These heating instruments are sometimes permitted in Breather spaces, depending on the space and other factors. Please reach out to our Customer Care team to request approval if you foresee needing any of these items.

  • Portable heaters.
  • Hair curlers.

Heating Instruments Not Permitted in Breather Spaces

These items are not permitted in our spaces—please don't bring them in!

  • Sternos.
  • Gas stoves.
  • Electric stoves. 
  • Hot plates. 
  • Outdoor grills (charcoal or propane).
  • Hibachis.
  • Candles.
  • Incense.
